Henry Lee Burnett, 85, died December 30, 2008. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2009 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville with the Rev. Scott Miller officiating and James Herbert Funeral Home directing. Interment followed in Magnolia Cemetery with Herbert Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Burnett was born on Oct. 31, 1923 in Butler County to the late Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Lee Burkett. His brothers James, Joe, John Williams, Robert, Eddie Clarence, Jim and Grady Burnett preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories two sisters, Joanna Rudolph and Lois Burnett; one brother, Willie Frank Burnett, Greenville; three sisters-in-law, Alice Burnett of Greenville, Jean Burnett of Warren, Ohio and Barbara Burnett of Dothan, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
