Betty Jo Pitts, 73, a resident of Greenville, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008 at her residence.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009 from Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Moses officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing.
Mrs. Pitts was preceded in death by her father, Price Raybon, mother, Jodie Raybon and brother, Douglas Raybon. Survivors include: husband, Leroy Pitts, Greenville; daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Robbie Hornsby, Chapman; sons and daughter-in-law, Danny and Wanda Pitts and Johnnie Pitts, all of Greenville; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Alto Oglesby of Honoraville; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home and will lie in repose at the church for one hour prior to services.
