GHS offers AHSGE tutoring for students

Students who need assistance in preparing for the Alabama High School Graduation Exam (AHSGE) are encouraged to check out the tutorial opportunities offered at Greenville High School.

Tutoring is now underway and continues through December 12.

All classes are held from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.

Reading, Language and Math are held on Monday; Science, Math and Social Studies, on Tuesday; Reading, Language and Social Studies on Wednesday, and Science on Thursday.

Reading and language tutoring are held in Room 1052 on the Red Hall; Math tutoring, Room 1084, Purple Hall; Social Studies tutoring, Room 1086, Purple Hall and Science tutoring, Room 1079, Purple Hall.

All students are required to participate in 75 percent of tutoring offered to be eligible to walk at graduation should they not meet all requirements associated with graduating with their fellow students.

Transportation will be provided for anyone who does not have a ride home from tutoring.

If the above schedule causes conflicts, students are asked to talk to one of their core teachers to see about having tutoring set up at a different time.
