Bright in town on Tuesday

Montgomery Mayor Bobby Bright, the Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives 2nd District, will be in Greenville on Tuesday.

Bright faces Republican candidate Jay Love in the general election on Nov. 4.

Bright’s itinerary:

10:30 a.m. – Tour of Butler County Courthouse and Greenville City Hall

11:15 a.m. – Residents are invited to visit with Bright at The Chef’s Table in Greenville (207 E Commerce St., Greenville)

Noon – Bright will be speaking to the Greenville Chapter of Kiwanis International at Beeland Park (1016 E Commerce St., Greenville)

Both Bright and Love will by vying for the Congressional seat vacated by Rep. Terry Everett (R), who is retiring.
