Henry S. Schofield, a resident of Greenville, (Shackleville Community), 67, died Saturday October 4, 2008 at his residence.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Harrison Funeral Home with Rev. Cleveland Stabler and Rev. Watson Wasden officiating.
Interment followed in Awin Baptist Cemetery with Harrison Funeral directing.
A visitation was held Tuesday Oct.6, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Survivors include: a son, Henry L. (Melba J.) Schofield, Greenville;
Two grandchildren, Dakota Schofield and Jason Schofield, Greenville; brothers, Cecil Schofield and Jimmy Lee Schofield, both of Georgiana; sisters, Jewel McCormick and Bertie Thomas, both of Greenville; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Schofield was preceded in death by his loving wife Mary V. Schofield.
