Shirley Ann Brooks Woodruff, born in Eclectic, Ala., November 10, 1942, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2008. A former resident of Greenville, she was preceded in death by a son, Auburn Jr., grandson, Shane Woodruff and mother, Vera Mae Brooks.
She is survived by her loving husband, Carlton; loving daughters, Traci Minton (Rick Holden) of Theodore, Allison Rich (Jason) of Vernon; loving son, Steven Woodruff (Christie) of Huntersville, N.C.; seven precious grandchildren, Michael Woodruff of Moore, Okla., Myles Minton of Enterprise, Myranda Minton of Theodore, Britany and Kayla Holloway of Vernon. Ryan Fisher and (expecting soon) Baby Girl Woodruff of Huntersville; special nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of church family and friends.
Mrs. Woodruff was a faithful member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Theodore.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008 at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, with visitation at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and funeral services at 1 p.m. Funeral arrangements by Serenity Funeral Home.
