Yet another of Butler County historic churches is celebrating a milestone this autumn. Bolling Methodist Church will be marking its 120th year on October 12.

The church, which was recently restored, will also hold its annual homecoming on that date.

“We would like to invite former members of the church and friends to come and join us for this celebration,” said Bobby Jean Cumbie, Homecoming Chairman.

Paul Beatrous of Mobile will be in charge of the special music.

“Lunch will be served in the Fellowship Building after the worship service. We want to invite everyone to join us for praise and worship followed by some good food and fellowship,” said Cumbie.
