Mr. Bobby O. Hood, 60, a resident of Fort Deposit, died Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Baptist South Hospital, Montgomery. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 10 a.m. from the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Little Sandy Ridge Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Fort Deposit.
Mr. Hood was preceded in death by his mother Sue Barganier and step-father Buddy Barganier and his grandson Alexander Kade Hood. He is survived by his wife, Faye B. Hood of Fort Deposit; daughter, Debra H. Warhol (Andy) of Youngstown, Ohio; sons: Bobby O. Hood, Jr. (Steffani) of Fort Deposit, Brandon L. Hood (Leslie Ann) of Fort Deposit; six grandchildren: Dalton Hood, Charli Elizabeth Hood, Anna Warhol, Matthew Hood, Emily Warhol and Olivia Grace Warhol; three sisters: Diane Sexton (Bruce) of Honoraville, Patti Purvis (Buddy) of Greenville, Donna McCarter (Chuck) of Clanton, and nieces and nephews.
Masonic graveside services will be conducted by Fort Deposit Lodge #291 of Fort Deposit. The family will receive friends at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Bowen, Jonathan Butts, Dexter Taylor, Robert Bowen, Eric Moss, Keenan Sexton, Jamie Purvis and Eugene Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Ziegler, Edward Butts, Max Conway, Jawbone and Alan Piggott.
