Zeola Hamilton, 96, a resident of Toledo, Ohio and formerly of Georgiana, died Friday, August 29, 2008 in Toledo. Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 6, from the Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Donal Colley officiating. Burial followed in Olive Branch Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing.
Survivors include: daughters, Viola (James) Washington and Dorothy (Lonnie) Hill, both of Toledo, Ohio, Pauline Ruffin of Buffalo, N.Y. and Shirley Jackson of Cleveland, Ohio; sons, Ulysses Hamilton of Buffalo, Eddie Hamilton of N.C. and Robert Lee Hamilton of Georgiana; sister, Lula Thomas of Benton, Miss. and Eunice (Rutledge) Todd of Georgiana; 22 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren. 18 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild, along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
