Robert Nicholson, 63, a resident of Greenville, died Sunday, August 24, 2008. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at Gravel Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Gaston officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Nicholson was preceded in death by parents and brother, John Edward Nicholson.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Murphy Nicholson of Greenville; sons, Jeffrey Henry Nicholson of Greenville and Robert Lee Nicholson; step-children, Cindy Acreman of Greenville, Roger (Helen) Watkins of Mountain Rest, S.C., Eugene Watkins of Wahua, S.C., Rita (Jimmy) Duncan and Tina (Randall) Phillips, all of Westminster, S.C.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Wanda (Larry) Watkins of Salem, S.C.; Ida Cannon of Mountain Rest, S.C. and Kathy Hill and several nieces and nephews.
