William Schmidt Crowe, 86, a resident of Pensacola, Fla., died Tuesday evening, May 27, 2008 at the Health Center of Pensacola. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2008 from the Friendship Baptist Church in Pine Apple with the Rev. Willie Crawford and the Rev. Haywood Day officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Dunklin & Dunklin directing.

Survivors include: Mike Melton of Birmingham, Johnny Melton of Greensboro and Frank Melton and fianc/ Mary Muller of Pensacola. There are eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Survivors also include dear friends June and Randy Jones of Niceville, Fla., Mary Weston of Valparaiso, Fla. and Jack and Julia Thomas of Niceville.

The family will receive friends at the Friendship Baptist Church of Pine Apple from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 31. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, Pine Apple, AL.
