Edward Alexander Butler, age 91, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 in the VA Hospital of Alexander City. Mr. Butler was a veteran of WW II and a retired U.S. Army officer.

Graveside military services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from the Mt. Zion Cemetery of Butler County, with minister Tim Gafford officiating and Harrison Funeral Home directing.

A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2008 at the funeral home. Survivors include: wife, Cornelia M. Butler of Honoraville; sister, Margaret Dallas of Montgomery; stepchildren, James (Glenda) Tucker of Honoraville and Betty (Tommy) Bryan of Montgomery; two nieces, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
