Donald Ray Greene Sr., 57, a resident of Prattville, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 13, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2008 from the chapel of Prattville Memory Gardens at Prattville Memorial Chapel. Mr. Greene served his country for over 20 years in the United States Air Force and was a dedicated member of the East Memorial Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, R.D. and Fannie Greene and one brother, Pete Greene. He is survived by his beloved spouse of 38 years, Pat Greene; one daughter, Cristy (Mark) Andrews; one son, Donald (Betty) Greene Jr.; three grandchildren, Tripp Greene, Megan Andrews and John Mark Andrews; one sister, Shirley Killough; three brothers, Bill (Dot) Greene, Russell (Maxine) Greene and Danny (Becky) Greene, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pallbearers will be the United States Air Force Honor Guard.
