H. Oliver Barganier, age 85, a resident of Fort Deposit, died on Tuesday, January 15, 2008. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 18, 2008 from the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Murphy and Brother Mike Phillips officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Interment followed at Myrtlewood Cemetery in Fort Deposit. The family received friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home in Greenville.

Mr. Barganier was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Katherine Barganier and sister Mary Philen. He is survived by his sons, Billy (Joyce) Barganier of Selma, Tommy (Jean) Barganier of Fort Deposit; grandchildren, Michelle (Ricky) Moring of Selma, Melissa (Shep) Chambers of Montgomery, Bryan (Melanie) Barganier of Helena, Tison Barganier of Birmingham; great-grandchildren, Alston Moring of Selma, McLain Chambers of Montgomery and Ella Barganier of Helena.
