She spent many years working in the Butler County School System as well as Fort Dale Academy where she developed strong bonds of friendship with family and students.

She found happiness in later years visiting residents of local nursing homes and assisted living facilities where she delivered weekly devotionals. Mrs. Miller was the longest living member of First Baptist Church of Greenville. Online condolences may be made at dunklinanddaniels.com.
