Milton Bush Threadgill, 83, a resident of Coy, died Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at his residence. Funeral services were Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 2 p.m. from the New Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Simpkins and Rev. Tommy Primm officiating.

Burial followed in Coy Cemetery with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.

The family received friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.

Mr. Threadgill was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite Threadgill. Survivors include: three daughters, Loraine Smith (Bruce), Faye Sheffield (Morris) and Doris Threadgill, all of Coy; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Faye Bohannon (James), Dixie Brannon (Don) Meredith of McKenzie; one brother, Jack Threadgill (Dorothy) and nieces and nephews. Pallbearers included: Michael Smith, Milton Smith, David Dailey, Shane Sims, Danny Hasselvander, Wayne Bohannon and Carl Morgan. Flowers will be accepted or donations to one’s favorite charity.
