Five Dixie Chicks players scored two runs apiece Monday as they took the Dixie Ponytails win over the Angels via the mercy rule, 13-3.

Brittany Gard, Colby Benson, Jasmine Morris, Anne Matthews and Alex Courtney each scored a pair of runs for the Dixie Chicks (3-3) while Jade Watson, Mia Taylor and Lexie Barganier each scored one.

Keonna Brown had the only hit for the Angels (1-5) while Bethany Nolan, Jeanna Dorman and Samantha Browder each scored a run.

The Dixie Chicks will take on the Heat Monday at 6 p.m., and the Angels will take on the Red Sox at 7:30 p.m.

Heat 10, Red Sox 4

Kasi Graham, Taylor Merry and Daphne Moore scored two runs apiece Monday to help pace the Heat by the Red Sox, 10-4.

Merry and Moore each had two hits at the plate for the Heat (6-0) while Whitney Boswell, Dana Moore, Hannah Burnett and Rebecca Dicks each had one.

For the Red Sox (2-4), Hannah Johnson had a hit and a run while Tay Peterson scored two runs and Haley Williams scored one.

The Heat will take on the Dixie Chicks Monday at 6 p.m., and the Red Sox will take on the Angels at 7:30 p.m.
