n A report was filed at the Colonial Bank for theft of property. A suspect fraudulently removed $400 from a victim's checking account.

n A report was filed at the Greenville Days Inn for theft by deception. A suspect defrauded the hotel out of a six-night stay worth $326 by using a stolen credit card.

Jan. 3

n A report was filed on Overlook Rd. for criminal mischief. One glass window received $300 damage.

Jan. 4

n A report was filed at the Butler Square shopping center parking lot for assault.

Jan. 5

n A report was filed at the Piggly Wiggly parking lot for harassment.

n A report was filed at the Max Mart South for harassment.

n A report was filed on Hardscramble Rd. for domestic violence - harassment.

Jan. 6

n A report was filed at Fred's Department Store for theft of property. One carton of USA Gold cigarettes worth $23 was reported stolen.

n A report was filed on Manningham Rd. for leaving the scene of an accident.

n A report was filed at Perdue Place for domestic violence.

n A report was filed at the Wal-Mart parking lot for theft of property. One Alabama National Guard vehicle tag worth $30 with the license plate number 15868 was reported stolen.

n A report was filed on Church St. for assault.

Jan. 8

n A report was filed on Hardscramble Rd. for theft of property. One red and gray Roadmaster bicycle worth $150 was reported stolen.

n A report was filed on Halso Mill Rd. for reckless endangerment.

n A report was filed on E. Commerce St. for harassment.

n A report was filed at Perdue Place for unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. One X-Box 360 worth $300, one car stereo amplifier worth $200, assorted X-Box 360 games worth $300, two X-Box 360 headsets worth $30, and one Sony CD player worth $500 were reported stolen.

n A report was filed on First St. for burglary. Three herringbone necklaces worth $600, two herringbone bracelets worth $400, multiple rings worth $1,000, four bangle bracelets worth $1,000, multiple ear rings worth $500, one X-Box 360 worth $500, one Playstation 3 worth $700, one Kicker car stereo amplifier worth $700, one pair of Gator dress shoes worth $1,500, one .357 Magnum handgun worth $350, and one .38 caliber handgun worth $200 were reported stolen. Assorted clothing worth $400 and one set of window blinds worth $30 were reported damaged during the burglary.

n A report was filed on Oak St. for burglary. Three four by eight sheets of plywood worth $42 were stolen, but later recovered. One four by eight sheet of plywood received $14 in damage.

Jan. 9

n A report was filed on Pineapple Highway for robbery. $1,637 in assorted U.S. currency was reported stolen.

Jan. 11

n A report was filed at W.O. Parmer Elementary for theft of property. Two Palm Pilots worth $500 were reported stolen.

The following arrests were reported by the Greenville Police Department from Jan. 3 through Jan. 8:

Jan. 3

n Richard Bailey, 38, was arrested and charged with failure to appear - driving while revoked.

n Donald Leon Wood, 61, was arrested and charged with DUI.

Jan. 4

n Demetrius Cortez Posey, 19, was arrested and charged with harassing communications.

Jan. 5

n Nikki Nicole Poole, 24, was arrested and charged with failure to appear - no proof of insurance.

Jan. 7

n James Earl Hilson, 48, was arrested and charged with public intoxication.

Jan. 8

n Ashley Myrick, 19, was arrested and charged with assault, 3rd.

n Lamar Albritton, 33, was arrested and charged with theft by deception.

n Willie James Cook, 40, was arrested and charged with burglary, 3rd.
