Georgiana also got back on track with a region win at Bayside while Fort Dale was outnumbered and made too many costly mistakes in the 47-0 shutout loss to Faith.

No.10 Fort Dale @ No. 8 Clarke Prep

The Eagles got off to a hot start to begin the 2006 season, but all that came crashing down Friday night when Faith shut out Fort Dale, 47-0.

The Eagles now sit at 1-1 in region play and will face another Top 10 opponent at Clarke Prep Friday night.

Clarke was also defeated by Faith in Week 2, 27-14, but Clarke did not make near the amount of mistakes that the Eagles made last week.

If the Eagles can't correct the offensive mistakes quickly, this one could also get out of hand…

McKenzie @ Pleasant Home

McKenzie won its first game of the season Friday, the first in nearly two years, and now the Tigers turn their attention to head coach Miles Brown's old school, Pleasant Home.

The Tigers rushed for almost 400 yards during the 42-21 win over Kinston while Pleasant Home had the unpleasant experience of playing the No. 1 Brantley Bulldogs.

The Tigers have tasted victory and are hungry for more, but McKenzie hasn't had back-to-back wins since 2002…

Georgiana vs. No. 1 Southern Choctaw

The Panthers regrouped Friday night to earn the first region win of the season over Bayside, 34-21.

The Panthers also return home this week for the first home game of the season.

That's the good news.

The bad news: Friday's opponent is No. 1 Southern Choctaw.

It will take a miracle for the Panthers to pull this one off, but miracles do happen…

Rehobeth

The Tigers are riding high after the hot 2-0 start and Rehobeth is reeling from back-to-back beatings.

Although Bryant Vincent's offense is usually pass happy, the Tigers found the running game Friday, making Greenville a threat to score from anywhere.

The Tigers must limit their mistakes and learn to put games away early or some of the future opponents, including this week's, will not roll over and die…
