Jan. 28

n Fredrick Earl Smith, 26, 8 Asberry Apartments, Montgomery was arrested for giving a false name to law enforcement and for a felony investigation of theft of property first-degree.

The following complaints were filed at the Butler County Sheriff's Office from Jan. 23 to Jan. 30:

Jan. 24

n A complaint was filed for theft of property third-degree from the residence of 252 Meadowview Road. A child support check valued at $210 was reported missing.

Jan. 26

n A complaint was filed for harassment from the residence of 6029 Ridge Road.

n A complaint was filed in reference to the unlawful blocking of a highway at Colfax Drive with black electrical tape.

Jan. 27

n A complaint was filed of the unlawful possession of marijuana and sexual harassment at Myrick's BP at 4125 Pine Apple Highway.

Jan. 28

n A complaint was filed for theft of property from a BP gas station located at 12933 Pine Apple Highway in Forest Home. The report indicates 14 gallons of gasoline was taken valued at $39.49.

n A complaint of domestic violence third-degree was reported for harassment at 47 Meadow Crest Road.

n A report was filed for the recovery of a stolen vehicle at the intersection of Pine Apple Highway and Interstate 65. A 2002 Nissan Maxima was recovered.

Jan. 29

n A complaint was filed for domestic violence at 371 Browder Road in McKenzie.

Jan. 30

n A complaint was filed for a dog bite at 11135 Luverne Highway.
