LUVERNE — Crenshaw Christian Academy posted its first victory of the 2005 football season with a 48-26 win over region foe Calvary Christian Academy last Friday night at Cougar Stadium.

"This was a must win for us," said CCA head coach Roland Jones. "We've improved a little each week, but we're still not where we need to be. We came out and played with some enthusiasm tonight and I was proud of the way the offensive line blocked."

The Cougars' offensive line consists of Andrew Powell, Cody Strops, Derek Manning, Matthew Walden and Dusty Gooden.
