The following complaints were filed at the Greenville Police Department during the period from Aug. 25 through Aug. 31:

August 25

n A complaint was filed for harassment on East Fields Street.

n A complaint was filed for possession of drug paraphernalia on Fields and Government streets. One copper tube with a rubber tip was recovered.

n A complaint was filed for possession of drug paraphernalia on Government Street. One crack pipe was recovered.

n A complaint was filed for assault, second degree, on East World Street.

n A complaint was filed for a recovered stolen firearm on First Street. One shotgun, valued at $100, was recovered.

n A complaint was filed for burglary, second degree, on Sherling Lake Road. 46 Xanax tablets, valued at $460, were taken.

n A complaint was filed for harassment on Cedar Street.

n A complaint was filed for harassment on West Fields Street.

n A complaint was filed for harassment on Whittaker Street.

n A complaint was filed for burglary, second degree, and two counts of the unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle on Bell Street. One window received $100 in damages, while one truck window and one car window received a total of $175 in damages. Also, one shotgun, valued at $100, was taken.

August 26

n A complaint was filed for burglary, third degree, at Boutwell Auto Salvage. Assorted snap on tools, valued at $3,800, were taken.

n A complaint was filed for theft of lost property, third degree, at Greenville High School. One cell phone, valued at $199, was taken.

n A complaint was filed for theft of property, third degree, and burglary, second degree, on Sherling Lake Road. Six Xanax tablets, valued at $120, were taken.

n A complaint was filed for menacing on Whittaker Street.

n A complaint was filed for harassment on Whittaker Street.

n A complaint was filed for leaving the scene of an accident on Butler Street.

n A complaint was filed for the unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle on Ogelsby Street. Items stolen and recovered included nine CDs, valued at $90, and one brown and tan purse, valued at $50.

August 27

n A complaint was filed for burglary, third degree, at Boutwell Auto Salvage. Items taken included four 15-inch chrome rims with tires, valued at $650, one ’92 model engine, valued at $750, and one 351 engine, valued at $1,200.

n A complaint was filed for criminal littering, third degree, on West Commerce Street.

n A complaint was filed for theft of lost property, third degree, on Winkler Street. Two gold bracelets, valued at $400, were taken.

n A complaint was filed for theft of lost property, third degree, at Tiger Stadium. One Nokia cell phone, valued at $50, was taken.

n A complaint was filed for miscellaneous information on Second Street.

n A complaint was filed for domestic violence/harassment, third degree, on Pineapple Highway.

n A complaint was filed for theft of property, third degree, on Fort Dale Road. One red and black Roadmaster mountain bike, valued at $50, was stolen and recovered.

n A complaint was filed for miscellaneous/lost cell phone at the CBC Lounge. One flip phone was taken.

August 28

n A complaint was filed for domestic violence/harassment, third degree, on I-65 North at mile marker 129.

n A complaint was filed for disorderly conduct on I-65 North.

n A complaint was filed for theft of property, third degree, at Greenville Chevron on Fort Dale Road. Someone drove off without paying for $36.66 in gas.

n A complaint was filed for criminal mischief, third degree, on Hicks Street. One left rear quarter panel received $200 in damages.

n A complaint was filed for leaving the scene of an accident on Carver Circle. One right rear bumper and quarter panel received $1,000 in damages.

n A complaint was filed for criminal mischief, third degree, on Pine Apple Highway. The passenger-side front and back doors received $500 in damages.

August 29

n A complaint was filed for recovered property on Highway 263. One Greenville Advocate machine, valued at $400, and one Montgomery Advertiser machine, valued at $800, were recovered.

n A complaint was filed for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, second degree, on Ogelsby and World streets. Items recovered included one small plastic bag containing a white rock substance, valued at $90, and one small plastic bag containing a green, leafy substance, valued at $10.

August 30

n A complaint was filed for harassing communications on South Pine Street.

n A complaint was filed for possession of marijuana, first degree, on Hicks Street. One marijuana cigarette, valued at $5, was recovered.

n A complaint was filed for domestic violence/harassment, third degree, on Church Street.

August 31

n A complaint was filed for theft of property, third degree, at Family Dollar. Items taken included two packs of Energizer ‘C’ batteries, valued at $6, and one pack of Panasonic ‘AA’ batteries, valued at $3.

n A complaint was filed for leaving a gasoline establishment without remitting payment at the Cornerstop on Halso Mill Road. Someone drove off without paying for $15 in gas.

n A complaint was filed for criminal mischief, third degree, on Perdue Place. One door lock and one door received a total of $175 in damages.

n A complaint was filed for burglary at The Boys and Girls Club. One half gallon of milk, valued at $3, and one box of hot dogs, valued at $30, were taken. One window received $200 in damages.

n A complaint was filed for burglary, third degree, on West Perdue Street. Items taken included $20 in cash, one DVD player, valued at $49.76, and one pair of new Balance shoes, valued at $50.

The following arrests were filed at the Greenville Police Department during the period from Aug. 25 through Aug. 31:

August 25

n Curtis Lee Powell, 43, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

n Andrew O’Neal Lowery, 40, was arrested for harassment.

August 26

n Johnnie Edward Malisham, 44, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

n Andrew O’Neal Lowery, 40, was arrested for failure to appear for DUI, FTA for driving with a revoked license and FTA for improper equipment.

August 27

n Willie Tyrone Thagard, 30, was arrested for domestic violence, third degree, harassment and FTA for no driver’s license.

n Demario Cortez Bailey, 22 was arrested for two counts of FTA for speeding, FTA for driving with a revoked license and FTA for loud and excessive noise.

August 28

n Jessica Lanett Allen, 22, was arrested for FTA for theft of property, third degree.

n Leroy Willis, 27, was arrested for domestic violence, harassment and disorderly conduct.

August 29

n Robert Jermaine Powell, 21, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, second degree, and disorderly conduct.

n Robert Lee Moorer, 35, was arrested for FTA for driving with a revoked license, FTA for operating a vehicle without insurance and FTA for an improper tag.

August 30

n Christopher Lionel Ward, 33, was arrested for possession of marijuana, first degree.

August 31

n Micah Chappell, 23, was arrested for theft of property, third degree.

n Tarvi Montanay Smith, 26, was arrested for leaving a gasoline establishment without remitting payment, FTA for running a red light and FTA for an improper tag.
