MEMPHIS – Mrs. Mary Jo Shell, 77, a resident of Memphis, Tenn., passed away Friday, Aug. 26, 2005, in a Memphis hospital.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30, from Brushey Creek Baptist Church with Rev. George Underwood officiating.

Burial followed in Brushey Creek Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing.

Survivors include her husband, Paul H. Shell of Memphis; four daughters, Linda Craig, Marianna Marin, Susan Tolley and Leah McWain, all of Memphis; two sisters, Lousie Padgett of Grenada, Miss., and Vernice Wilson of Kilgore, Texas; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
