Claude E. Faulkenberry

MOBILE - Claude E. Faulkenberry, a native of Tunnel Springs and resident of Mobile, died Aug. 13, 2005 at the family residence.

Funeral services were held Aug. 16 at Creekwood Church of Christ. Interment followed in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

Faulkenberry was a veteran of the U.S. Army (Corpsman) in World War II and was an Elder for more than 30 years at Creekwood Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Marietta Faulkenberry of Mobile; son, Neil (Nancy) Faulkenberry of Greenville; daughter, Beth Jones of Mobile; sister, Liz Morgan of Mobile; five grandchildren, Micha Jones, Summer Jones, Erin Klash, Nathaniel Faulkenberry and Benjamin Faukenberry; three great-grandchildren, Jacob Jones, Aleah Jones and Austin Klash and a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Creekwood Church of Christ Meals on Wheels program, 1901 Schillinger Road, Mobile, AL 36695.
