Highland Home- Mr. John Stroud Jr., a resident of Highland Home passed away on Friday, June 24, 2005, at his home.

Funeral services were held Saturday July 2, 2005, at 1 p.m. at Sugar Ridge Church of Christ, Lapine, with Brother Sidney Brown officiating.

Burial followed at Sugar Ridge Church Cemetery with Lee’s Fu-neral Home directing.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Bobbie Lee; one daughter, Margie Bryant of Rochester, N.Y.;

one son, Tommy (Carolyn) Nichole, of Bartow, Fla., six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, many devoted nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
