Tilda Haywood

Mrs. Tilda Haywood, a resident of New York and a former resident of Greenville, died on Friday, May 20, 2005.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 28, 2005,

at New Bethel Christian Church with Elder Tommie Means and Minister Roosevelt Jenkins officating.

Burial followed in the church cemetery with Hudson Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by her two daughters, Lilie Mae Johnson of Malone, Fla. and Elsie Haywood, of Bronx, N.Y.; two sons, James Bones and Rufus Bones, both of Bronx, N.Y.; four brothers, George Savage, of Boston, Elijah Savage Jr., of Bradenton, Fla., Arthur Savage and L.J. Savage, both of Greenville; three sisters, Ruby Jenkins, Bronx, N.Y., Dorothy Baines, of Montgomery and Rachel Meade, of Bronx and Charles Baines, of Montgomery; four sisters-in-law, Annie Savage, Sadie Savage, Martha Savage, all of Greenville and Bobbie Ward of Bradenton, Fla.; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
