Those who have not registered must either go to the Butler County Board of Registrars in the Courthouse or mail their registration application in.

"Either way they have to be in by Friday Oct. 22," said Beeland Stead of the Board of Registrars. "If they mail them in they need to be postmarked by Oct. 22."

Also, if voters plan to vote by absentee ballot they must have them applied for by Thursday Oct. 28.

"The date will come on next Thursday," said Circuit Clerk Allen Stephenson. "That is the Thursday before the Tuesday Election."

Stephenson also had a very important reminder for those voting by absentee ballot.

"All non military absentee ballots must include a copy of some form of identification," said Stephenson.
