Cartwright, Morris, Pugh, Beck claim feature wins

Fans packed the grandstands Saturday night at the Butler County Motorsports Park for some mud slinging action.

They got exactly what they came for.

Kenny Cartwright out drove Randy Adams and Rusty Salter to claim the checkered flag in the hobby feature event.

Wayne Morris finished first in the novice feature race, followed by Gerald Brown and Jim Till, which finished second and third respectively.

In the rear-wheel HOGG feature, Carey Pugh claimed top honors beating Wayne Cawley and Bill Brown to the start/finish line.

Johnny Beck also claimed first place with a win in the front-wheel HOGG feature race. Brandy Thagard finished second and Kenny Weaver placed third.

Gates open every Saturday night at 6 p.m. with practice sessions to follow. Races will begin at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 and kids under 15-years old are free.
