It’s beginning to look a lot like football season.

The Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) made it official earlier this week by releasing schedules for every high school throughout the state.

Below is each Butler County schools football schedule for the upcoming season:

Greenville

_ Aug. 27 – Daleville (A)

_ Sept. 3 – Wetumpka (A)

_ Sept. 10 – Eufaula (H)

_ Sept. 17 – Charles Hend. (H)

_ Sept. 24 – Wilcox Central (H)

_ Oct. 1 – Stanhope Elmore (A)

_ Oct. 8 – Carroll (A)

_ Oct. 15 – B. T. Washington (A)

_ Oct. 22 – Russell Co. (H)

_ Oct. 29 – Open

The Tigers will compete in Class 5A, Region 2 this season. Their region opponents include, Carroll, Stanhope Elmore, Eufaula, Charles Henderson, Russell County, Booker T. Washington and Wetumpka.

Georgiana

_ Aug. 27 – Samson (A)

_ Sept. 3 – Bayside Acad. (H)

_ Sept. 10 – S. Choctaw (A)

_ Sept. 17 – Washington Co. (H)

_ Sept. 24 – McKenzie (A)

_ Oct. 1 – Leroy (A)

_ Oct. 29 – St. Jude (H)

The Panthers will compete in Class 2A, Region 1 this season. Their region opponents include, Bayside Academy, Excel, Flomaton, Leroy, Red Level, Southern Choctaw and Washington County.

McKenzie

_ Sept. 3 – Pleasant Home (A)
