Tuesday, voters in Districts One and Three will go to the polls to choose who will advance to the November general election.

To say the turnout for the primary on June 1 was dismal, would be redundant and it would be a waste of your time.

For the candidates in the runoff who did not advance, we ask that you encourage your supporters to return to the polls as well.

Let them know that you will vote on June 29th.

Let them know that it is not about winning or losing, but rather what is best for you district and in turn, what is best for Butler County's future.

These are good people running for the two offcie.

For the residents who live inside the city limits, it is very important that you too go vote.

Yes, you are represented by a city council, but you are also represented by a county commissioner.

For the most part, you have the easiest opportunity to vote because you don't have to drive around the county. You vote right here in town.

So go vote.

There is no excuse for not voting.
