Jessica Hittell slapped two singles, drove in one run and scored two runs and Candis Moorer finished with two RBI to lead the Senior Girls Angels to an 11-10 edging of the Sting Rays Thursday evening.

Kimberly Hittell also had a good day at the plate with a double, single and two runs scored. Nicole Thomley chipped in with two singles and Delshaun Williams added a single.

Ashley McDonald led the Sting Rays with a two-run double. Mandy Wright belted a solo homerun in the fourth inning and Casey Rodgers drove in one run in the fifth. Brittany White finished with two singles.

Shana Fail hit an RBI single and Jordan Peavy and Lakyn Newton drove in one run on Slammer errors to help lead the Sidewinders as they won the close contest, 7-6.

Fail finished the night with two singles and Peavy and Newton also scored two runs each. Susan Nimmer chipped in with a single and Lacey Edwards scored once.

Michele Hulick led the Slammers with a single and two RBI, followed by Carrie Coker, who legged out two triples, drove in one run and scored once. Tara Gibson added three singles, an RBI and scored one run.

Kayla Johnson and Jo Hester chipped in with a single and scored one run each.
