Giants 6 A's 1

Andy Burns, Cris Cob and Ethan Newton all combined to no-hit the A's in Thursday's 6-1 win.

Burns also helped himself out at the plate by going 1-for-1 and scoring a run.

Dalton Burns also crossed the plate twice for the Giants.

Cubs 15 Cardinals 3

Charlie Schofield and Royce Tolbert got lots of support from their offense as they combined to hold the Cardinals to three runs in a 15-3 win.

Matt Langford and Hunter Hamm led the way for the Cubs going 1-for-1 scoring three times each.

Wesley Scott led the way for the Cardinals going 1-for-1 and scoring a run.

Dixie Majors

Cubs 3 Rangers 1

The Cubs survived a pitcher's duel to pull out the 3-1 win over the Rangers.

The Cubs led the entire game, but the lead was never safe. Kyle came across to score in the third for the Rangers to make things interesting.

Dwayne Wiley was the workhorse for the Cubs going 2-for-2 at the plate and scoring all three runs.

A's 7 Red Sox 4

A three run first inning proved to be the difference in the A's 7-4 win over the Red Sox.

Six strong innings from Daniel Hartley on the mound also fueled the A's win.

Brady Newton led off for the A's and led them in batting as well going

3-for-4.

Hartley who was 2-for-4 followed Newton.

Josh Booker led the Red Sox going 2-for-4.

Yankees 11 Rangers 0

Andrew Phelps and Ben Coker combined to pitch a no-hit shutout against the Rangers Thursday.

The Yankees got off to a strong start with eight first inning runs.

David Stephenson and Chuck Barrett led the way for the Yankees scoring two runs each.

Stephenson finished 2-for-3, while Barrett was 2-for-4.

Red Sox 20 Cubs 4

The Red Sox hammered out 20 runs to run away with the 20-5 win Thursday.

Clay Beverly, Stephen Croley and Adam Moore each reached base and scored every time they came to bat.

Beverly and Croley were responsible for four Red Sox runs themselves with Moore scoring three times.

The Cubs were led by Carnell Smith who was 2-for-2 scoring once.

Mite League

Pirates 18 Dodgers 16

The Pirates needed to rally late to steal an 18-16 win from the Dodgers.

The Pirates went into the final inning behind 16-13.

They then hammered out five runs to seal the win.

James Burkett led the Pirates going 3-for-3 with a two run homer. Cole Davis finished 4-for-4 in the leadoff spot.

Tristan Price paced the Dodgers going 4-for-4.

Indians 14 Cardinals 6

The Indians put up big numbers in their 14-6 win over the Cardinals.

Eight different Indians found their way around the bases to score runs on the night.

Chip Taylor led the way going 3-for-3 with a two run homer in the third.

Chase Whitton and Deaton Owens followed going 3-3 as well.

J.T. Thomas led the way for the Cardinals going 2-for-2 with a fourth inning dinger.

Yankees 8 Giants 4

Despite scoring in every inning the Giants fell just short in an 8-4 loss to the Yankees.

The Yankees pounded out 14 hits on the night, three of which came from Clem Cole.

Brady Clark, Luke Hamm and Colby Booker chipped in two hits apiece.

Steiner Hamilton led the Giants going 2-for-2 and scoring twice.

A's 8 Giants 0

Calvin McDonald kept the Giant's bats under control pitching his team to an 8-0 shutout win.

The A's scored early and often chalking up all eight runs by the third inning.

Cade Tillery led the A's going 2-for-2 and scoring twice.

Justin Jones got the Giants only hit with a second inning single.

Cardinals 13 Cubs 3

The Cardinals blasted seven runs in the opening inning to set the pace for their 13-3 win.

The first seven batters the Cardinals sent to the plate all found themselves making their way around the bags to score.

Ryan Taylor led the Cardinals going 2-for-2 at the plate.

Wesley Scott, Connally Walters and Skyler McKeown all chipped in a hit apiece.

Joshua Hamm went 1-for2 for the Cubs.

Braves 2 Cardinals 1

Nathan Branum came in the score in the sixth inning to lift the Braves to a 2-1 win over the Cardinals.

The two teams had been deadlocked for three innings before Branum reached base on a single and scored.

David Black pitched a complete game no hitter to keep the win in reach.

Shaye Hartsille led the Braves going 2-for-2 at the plate.

Branum, David Black and Daron Mack all chipped in a hit.

Dixie Youth

A's 11 Dodgers 6

Raymond Moody and Jonathan Scott each went 2-for-3 and scored runs to lead the A's to a, 11-6 win over the Dodgers.

The Dodgers attempted to make a comeback when Dustin Till and Nathan Reeves came in to score in the fifth. However, the A's held on for the win.

Till also led the A's going 2-for-2.

Orioles 5 Red Sox 1

Daniel Nolan controlled the pace on the mound holding the Red Sox to a single fifth inning run.

The two teams played to a scoreless tie for the first three innings of the game.

However, Stuart Mathews and Dylon McNaughton would come in to score in the fourth to get things started for the O's.

Thomas Nolan led the Orioles going 3-for-3 with a RBI.

LaDarius Powell and Matt Sheffield also had RBI for the Orioles.

Jeremy McGinty was 2-for-2 and scored the Red Sox only run.
