Mondays are marvelous in Georgiana

The Third Marvelous Monday will kick off next week at 7 p.m. at the Georgiana Theater with feature evangelist Randy Harvill, pastor of Brushey Creek Baptist Church.

Harvill has served as pastor of Brushey Creek for 1 1/2 years, and was ordained there on May 25 of this year.

He has filled in as pastor at many churches in Crenshaw and Butler counties.

&uot;We are very fortunate to bring Randy to Georgiana for our third night of revival,&uot; said event organizer and pastor of the First Baptist Church of Georgiana Allen Stephenson. &uot;We have had fantastic speakers so far, and we know that Randy's humble spirit and his love for people are going to make this a very special revival service.&uot;

Harvill has recently gone into business for himself as an independent forestry consultant.

His family includes wife, Kim, and two children, Brittney and Justin.

Worship for the service will be provided by David Norrell and the First Baptist Church of Luverne choir.

David serves as Director of Music at the Luverne church. He has served at many churches as an interim music director before taking the First Baptist position.

He also is general manager of Propane Gas and Appliance of New Brockton, Ala. He is married to Melissa, and they have three children, Madison, Lacey and Peyton.

&uot;We are excited to have David and his choir,&uot; Stephenson said. &uot;We know they will bring an exciting worship atmosphere to our service. We invite everyone to attend.&uot;

David and Randy are both Georgiana natives.

The &uot;Four Marvelous Mondays&uot; crusade services, began on July 7, and will be offered each Monday in the month of July.

Prior featured evangelists include

Dr. Bruce Chesser of Geyser springs Baptis Church of Little Rock, Ark., and Morgan Bailey, senior pastor of Santuck Baptist Chruch. Next week's featured speaker will be Charles Cooey of Indian Springs Baptist Church of Mobile.
