Daniel Hartley and Leon Tetter each batted three times, and each notched one hit, although neither scored.

Newton was credited with two runs batted in (RBI) on a double in the bottom of the fourth inning, making the score 4-0 Greenville. But the Flying Squadron came back in the fifth inning to score two runs, eliminating the possibility of a shutout by the Tigers.

The Tigers will be on the road Wednesday evening to travel to Beatrice and face the hosting Panthers of J.F. Shields.
