Parade a must attend for Butler Countians

The Holiday season is upon us and there is no better sign of the impending arrival of St. Nick than the annual Greenville Christmas parade tomorrow night. The parade, which will begin at 6 p.m. from the on CenturyTel parking lot on Herbert Street, will travel west, turning right on Bolling Street and then east on Commerce until ending at the county courthouse.

This year's parade is expected to be bigger and better than ever before and we encourage you to show your holiday spirit by attending. There's almost nothing that will get you in the spirit more than watching the bright-eyed children of Butler County as they watch the brightly decorated Christmas floats pass by.

We at the Advocate extend our thanks to the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce for coordinating the parade and for the hundreds of volunteers who give their time to make the parade a success and help us all get into the holiday season. Especially those that take the time to prepare and create the many floats that will be represented in the lineup. We also appreciate Santa Claus for taking time out of his busy schedule to be the guest of honor. We know he's busy
