DTF finds marijuana in Lowndes bust

The Second Judicial Drug Task Force (DTF) found marijuana in two residences in Mosses Tuesday morning. Following the execution of search warrants, four individuals were arrested.

DTF members, along with Lowndes County Sheriff's deputies, Crenshaw County deputies and Hayneville police, entered the residences simultaneously at around 6:20 a.m. Tuesday armed with two search warrants. Four individuals were subsequently arrested on charges ranging from possession of marijuana to possession of drug paraphernalia.

Katrina Masha Seawright, 22, of Apartment 806, Mosses Housing Project, Hayneville, was arrested at the residence on charges of possession of marijuana, second degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was placed in the Lowndes County Jail under a $2,000 bond, $1,000 for each charge.

Charles B. Aaron, 26, of 8 Clayton Drive, Hayneville, also was arrested at the residence on charges of possession of marijuana, first degree. He was placed in Lowndes County jail under a $5,000 bond.

Kenneth Holcombe and Cedric Rudolph were arrested at Apartment 826, Mosses Housing Project. Holcombe, 20, of Montgomery, is charged with possession of marijuana, first degree, and was placed in Lowndes County Jail under a $5,000 bond. Rudolph, 19, of 185 Mulberry Street, Hayneville, was arrested on charges of second degree possession of marijuana. He also was transported to Lowndes County Jail and placed under a $1,000 bond.

Officials found 18 individual bags of marijuana in Apartment 806 and possibly half of an ecstasy pill along with an undisclosed amount of cash. Outside, in a 1987 Chevrolet Caprice Classic, officials found scales and marijuana residue.

In Apartment 826, an undisclosed amount of marijuana was located.

According to a spokesperson for the DTF, more charges may be filed in this case.
