Butler County Humane Society President Ann Daughtery and grandson Heath "Scoot" Crawford watch the kittens play at the Humane Society's hot dog sale Saturday. The organization raised nearly $300 at the sale. The Humane Society also ran a special on adoption fees in which the fee was waived and a $15 payment covered spaying and neutering. They plan to use the funds to help find homes for the animals that have been rescued or abandaned at the Greenville Animal Shelter. Currently, there are many animals at the shelter in need of homes. For more information call the Greenville Animal Shelter at 382-7806.
