Greenville Main Street's Annual Summer Supper is set for Thursday, June 6 at The Martin House, located at 212 E. Commerce St.

Highlights of the event will include the presentation of the Greenville Jaycees annual John D. Murphy Citizen of the Year award, which was presented to Allen Stephenson last year. Also being presented are the Greenville Main Street Volunteer of the Year Award, which was presented last year to Tom Braxton, and the Great Greenville Main Street Award, which was presented last year to Roberta Gamble.

Greenville Main Street President Nancy Idland said this will be the second year for the two Main Street awards, and this year's theme is &uot;Celebrating Greenville

A Star Fell on Alabama.&uot;

&uot;We will have a barbeque chicken supper and the awards will be presented during the event,&uot; Idland said. &uot;It is a really great event because it gives us all a time for visiting and enjoying.&uot;
