Dr. T. Bob#039; to perform in Greenville

Dr. T. Bob Davis, a native of Luverne and Troy, will perform a gospel music piano concert at the First United Methodist Church in Greenville on Saturday, Apr. 13.

Davis, a dentist in Dallas, Texas, is a graduate of Samford University, and received the Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama.

He served as the pianist for the First Baptist Church of on radio stations throughout the world.

He has served as the pianist for the Southern Baptist Convention in Atlanta, Ga., Indianapolis, Ind. and Houston, Texas, playing to audiences of 45,000 persons.

He was the guest artist in Dino's nine-piano "Pianorama Concerts."

The public is invited to attend the "old-fashioned" gospel music piano concert at the First United Methodist Church, Greenville, on Saturday, April 13, beginning at 7 p.m.

Although there is no charge for admission to the concert, a "Love Offering" will be taken.

T. Bob Davis tapes and CDs will be available for purchase.

He has performed on ten international tours including Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe, Asia, the Orient, and the Near and Far East.

He was the Dallas Symphony Showhouse guest musician for eight years.

In addition, he has been the piano accompanist for many recording artists. He has numerous recorded albums, including "Gratefully, T. Bob," "T. Bob n Piano," "T. Bob n Late Night," "T. Bob and Bill n Sunday Sounds" and "The Best of T. Bob."

The latter has been played on radio stations throughout the world.
