Landowners and persons who are interested in managing their own land will find this workshop an exceptional opportunity. Participants will learn how to practice sustainable forestry and how to manage the land to meet objectives. The MTFII Program is designed for those who are already familiar with basic forestry terms and concepts. The course will build on the subject matter that was taught in the MTFI courses that were offered in 2000 and 2001.

Butler County is to be one of the 16 counties statewide that will host live satellite broadcasts out of Clemson University in South Carolina. A toll-free telephone number and e-mail address will be available to allow participants to question the presenters. At each location, a local forester will be on hand to answer questions as well. Broadcast location for this county will be the Butler County Extension Office in Greenville.

Workshop sessions will be each Tuesday, February 5 – March 19, 2002.
