Accident sends three to hospital

At 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon, a two-vehicle accident occurred on Highway 10 West in front of Liberty Country Store in Greenville. Three people were injured, but no life-threatening injuries were sustained.

The driver of a 1993 Chevrolet S-10 pick-up rear-ended a 1993 Ford Taurus, driven by Janet Hudson, 31, of Greenville. All individuals involved in the accident were transported to L. V. Stabler Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries; one individual was transported by ambulance.

According to Alabama State Troopers, the accident was caused in part by slippery road conditions.
