Fuller is a native of Troy and earned her bachelor of science degree in print journalism in August from Troy State University.

&uot;I am very excited about moving to Greenville and hope that I will be a voice for the people and help keep each person informed about the events happening in their area,&uot; Fuller said.

In her spare time, Fuller enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, camping, reading and writing poetry and short stories.

Fuller’s employment with The Greenville Advocate and The Butler County News comes as a result of George Wacha taking the position of editor of The Luverne Journal and The Lowndes Signal, also papers owned by Greenville Newspapers.

"As much as I've enjoyed serving the community in Greenville, Georgiana and McKenzie, I am looking forward to the challenge facing me in Crenshaw and Lowndes counties," said Wacha. "I am proud to say that I will be very active in Butler County sports in addition to my responsibilities in my new position."

Wacha will assume his new position next week.
