Blackburn triple sends three home

When the Dodgers faced the Braves last week, a Caleb Blackburn triple in the second sent three to the plate, helping toward the 12-run lead.

The Dodgers won, 15-3.

Blackburn had already sent one home on a double with two runners ahead of him in the first inning.

Other scoring batters in the game for the Dodgers were Zack Smith with a double and a single, Nicky Blackmon with two singles, Mika Jones with two singles, Paul Hendrix with a double, Gene Chambliss with a single, Kyle Paez with two, once walking on balls and once after being hit by a pitch, and LeDarius Robinson who walked.

For the Braves, Tyler Newton scored on a triple, and Corey Johnson scored two runs on back-to-back doubles.
