Perry Lewis Johnson, 34 of Georgiana, died as a result of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) accident, north of Georgiana on Saturday.

Reports in Georgiana indicate that Johnson was driving his ATV on Hickory Hill, when he apparently left the roadway and was ejected from the vehicle, landing on the ground.

Emergency units from Georgiana Police Department, Hornsby's EMS and the Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers responded to the accident.

A spokesperson with Hornsby's said when units arrived, they contacted Medical Control, and called the Butler County Coroner, who responded to the scene of the accident.

The Coroner pronounced Johnson dead at the scene.

Johnson is survived by his father, Will Johnson, of Greenville.
