Last week was a busy one for the Fort Dale Eagles, with some makeup games in the schedule.

Starting off on Thursday, they were at home to face the boys of Hooper Academy, for a double-header, ending the first game in a tie after seven innings, 3-3.

Runs were brought in by Langston in the first, and Hollyfield and Cates each scored a run in the sixth inning.

Hooper was prevented from scoring until the third inning, when they made one run, then again the Eagles held them back until the seventh, when they too scored two runs.

In game number two, Fort Dale overpowered Hooper, scoring 11 points to the five they allowed for Hooper.

Crenshaw and Hollyfield led the scoring for the Eagles, with three runs each.

Langston scored two runs; Philpot, Barrett and Sorrels each scored one.

Hooper made their biggest streak in the first inning with three runs. They again scored one run each in the second and fifth innings.

On Saturday, Fort Dale was once again home for a double-header, only this one was split by a match between both of the visiting teams.

In the first game, the Eagles hosted the Knights of Tuscaloosa Academy, and after seven innings, fell with a final score of 9-6.

McGough led the scoring for the Eagles, with two runs; one in the fifth and one in the sixth.

Langston, Crenshaw, Cates, and Till each scored on run.

The Knights started out strong, scoring five runs in the first five batters. They were silent again until the third, when they were able to cross the plate three times.

It was again a struggle against the Eagles until the seventh inning, when they managed one

more run, making the final score Tuscaloosa nine, Fort Dale six.

Game number two saw the Eagles take a break, while Lowndes Academy's Rebels and Tuscaloosa's Knights battled it out on the diamond.

In game three for the day, Fort Dale hosted the Rebels, and after seven innings, were defeated by a score of 6-2.

Crenshaw scored in the third inning, and Langston scored in the sixth.

The Rebels scored two runs in the fourth, three in the sixth and the final run of the day in the seventh.
