This week on the diamonds

With baseball and softball teams practicing heavily on the fields, this week's gameplay is light (compared to next week).

In the beginning of the week, McKenzie and Georgiana baseball teams were both on the road. The MHS Tigers traveled to Red Level, and the GHS Panthers went to Highland Home.

On Tuesday Greenville High Tigers baseball will be on the road to Southside-Selma.

Then, after no teams playing Wednesday, Georgiana's baseball team will be in the Camellia City to face-off with the Greenville Tigers at Beeland Park, with the first pitch scheduled for 3:30.

The Greenville Lady Tigers will be at Beeland Park to host Goshen at 4:30 in softball play.

Then on Friday, Lamp Magnet will be in Greenville to play the Tigers in a double-header, beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Also on Friday, the Greenville Academy Tornados will

begin their baseball season playing at Escambia Academy, starting at 3:30, while the Fort Dale Academy Eagles will be away to play New Life Christian.

The McKenzie Tigers will host Red Level, while the Georgiana Panthers will host Goshen, with both of those games starting at 3:30 p.m.

Next week, there will be 18 ballgames played by Butler County teams, half at home and half away.
