Tigers hoopsters wrap up season

Although the 12-13 season is over for the Greenville Tigers basketball team, it didn't end without some impressive statistics.

The points leader was Sam Williamson, who scored an impressive 361 points in 25 games. That total average came to 14.4 points per game. Williamson also averaged 9.4 rebounds per game, placing him second in that area. He also averaged 2.1 blocked shots per game, and 4.5 turnovers per game.

Tyrone Davison came in second with 254 points for the season, and in 22 games, averaged 11.5 points per game. Davison had the highest turnovers, with an average of 5.2 per game.

In third place for scoring, Carlos Blackmon came through with 248 points in 25 games, an average of 9.9 points per game. Blackmon led the team on rebounds, averaging 11.3, and 2.4 turnovers per game.

Marlon Powell was fourth for with 187 points in 23 games, averaging 8.1 points per game. Powell had 6.1 rebounds averaged per game, and also averaged 1.4 assists per game.

Joshua Smith was fifth for scoring, with 157 points in 18 games, an average of 8.7 points per game. Smith placed first in assists, with 3.2 averaged per game, and also averaged 4.4 turnovers per game.

Chris Toles also played 18 games, totaling 84 points, and averaging 4.6 per game. Toles averaged 2.2 rebounds per game, and 1.7 assists.

Rondell Hamilton was seventh, with 60 points per 21 games, averaging 2.8 points per game, and 1.7 rebounds per game.

Tremendes McMeans placed eighth, playing in 17 games and scoring 39 points, for an average of 2.2 points per game.

Marcus Briggs played in nine games, totaling 24 points, for an average of 2.6 points per game. Briggs averaged 2.0 rebounds per game.

Kerey Williams averaged 2.0 points per game, playing in 10 games for a total of 20 points, and was

second on assists, averaging 2.0 per game.
