This Saturday, Jan. 20, is Inauguration Day, when George W. Bush will be sworn in as President of the United States, one of the most coveted political positions in this country and perhaps throughout the world.

President-elect Bush has stated in the past few weeks that his administration will not come with all of the hoop-la and wild goings-on which have been at the forefront of the Clinton Administration.

He has said he wants to &uot;return respect back to the White House.&uot;

This country should feel blessed to be under the leadership of a more conservative administration after Saturday’s ceremony. The office of the president is a respectful position and should be treated as such. The Oval Office should be a place where world decisions are made, not a place for partying with the hired hands.

Hopefully our new president can restore our country’s &uot;castle&uot; with the dignity and honor on which it was founded.
