Fort Dale won the wet and rugged battle 14-7.

The first quarter opened with FDA taking possession on they're own 24.

Coach Sampley chose to stay on the ground, and FDA hammered out 76 yards the hard way.

The Eagles capped the 14 play drive with a Jared Lowe touchdown.

The 4-yard run was complimented by Clint Philpot's extra point and the Eagles lead 7-0 with 5:04 left in the first.

The remainder of the half was a defensive struggle and neither side could score.

Coming out of the locker room for the second half, Hooper took possession.

After moving only a few yards, Quarterback Brennon Coon was intercepted by Tommy Ryan.

Ryan returned the interception 45 yards for another FDA touchdown.

FDA was breathing easy at 14-0 with 10:28 left in the third.

Undaunted, Hooper capitalized on a blocked punt to takeover at FDA's 24.

They quickly moved the ball in 5 plays to a touchdown on a Coon QB sneak.

Moments later, with five minutes left in the game, Hooper had a first and goal on FDA's 9-yard-line.

Only with a goal line stand on all four downs was FDA able to clinch victory over Hooper 14-7.

Jared Lowe lead the Eagle's offensive attack with

68 yards rushing on 19 carries.

Evan Brock lead the defense with 15 tackles.

FDA is now 2-0.
