The White Sox were the dominate team in the GPRD Dixie Boys League throughout the season and they wrapped up the season as the best team with an overall record of 12-3.

The White Sox' last game of the season was another win. They defeated the Athletics by a final count of 17-7.

The Sox jumped out to a quick lead as Ty Langston hit a double and stole third base. Corey Ausderau earned the first RBI of the game as he belted a single to bring Langston in. Another double came from the next batter, Brandon Burnette, which scored Ausderau and gave the Sox a 2-0 lead.

But, the Athletics came right back with two runs of their own. Consecutive singles by Jacob Conway and Burt Rice got things going and after the bases became loaded, another pair of singles by Chris Slasley and Josh Booker tied the game at 2-2.

But, the White Sox exploded in the top of the second. Scott Corley led off with a single and Brandon Hinson followed with a walk. It appeared the A's might escape the inning after a pair of outs were recorded, but consecutive singles by Auderau and Burnette scored two runs and kept the inning going. Andrew Hartman loaded the bases with a walk and Daniel Hartley came through with a double that scored three runs and made the score 7-0. Hartley then scored on a base hit by Brad Anthony. Hinson got the biggest hit of the inning as he belted a three-run homer, scoring Anthony and Dusty Coker to give the Sox an 11-2 lead.

The Athletics came back with one run in the bottom of the inning. The A's loaded the bases and Conway scored as Slasley earned a walk to make the score 11-3. Daniel Hartley and Richard Cowles led off the inning with consecutive singles. Both runners were able to score on a single by Corley to increase their lead to 13-4.
